Meet the Designer
Eleanor is a textile print designer with a passion for nature and the environment, drawn strongly to bold colour palettes and natural form. Eleanor has developed a decorative and explorative approach to design within her work, through use of colour, scale and texture. Showcased through a range of mixed media approaches, combining traditional methodologies and digital print.
Her graduate collection, ‘A Journey to Tranquility’, explores the connection between interior spaces and emotional well-being. Rooted in immersive field research and observational drawing, Eleanor captures organic natural transitions using expressive fine-liner ink work, fluid watercolour layouts and precise dye profiling.
From expansive, abstract watercolour compositions to highly structured, repeating technical pattern systems, her portfolio balances bold scale shifts with a meticulous eye for detail. By combining hand-mixed reactive dye techniques with industry-standard digital design software, she develops sophisticated textiles that bring harmony, timeless elegance and a grounding aesthetic into contemporary spaces.
Fine-Art Foundations
Every pattern begins its creative lifecycle as physical ink sketches and raw watercolour layers in design journals before being translated digitally.
Technical Colour Labs
Meticulous colour mapping and testing of hand-mixed reactive dye combinations ensures rich, industry-standard colourways.
Bespoke Scale Studies
Designs are carefully scaled and proportioned across diverse tactile mediums—from heavy hanging linens to delicate silken fabrics.
